What is the Holy Spirit, and what part does it play in God's work? This booklet explores the question using the Bible alone. It shows that the Spirit is God's own power, not a separate person within the Godhead. By the Spirit, God created the world and still sustains it. The same Spirit inspired the prophets and worked through Jesus in his miracles and teaching. It raised him from the dead and gave special gifts to the apostles. The booklet also examines modern claims to speak in tongues, heal and receive direct guidance. It tests these claims against Scripture. It encourages readers to let God's Word guide their choices and to come to God in prayer through Jesus.
