圣经教导：耶稣基督很快要回到地上。他来的时候，要使死人复活，并审判世界。这本小册子说明那日的意义。它指出，死了的人在坟墓里沉睡，并不在天堂或地狱。基督回来时，许多人要醒过来，站在他的审判台前。认识福音的人都要为自己的一生交账。神要赐忠心的人永生，使他们住在更新之地上的神国里。然而，没有人能靠自己赢得这赏赐；这是神白白赐下的恩典。本书邀请每一位读者现在就作出回应：相信、悔改、受洗。本书采用中英对照，中文经文引自和合本。

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ will soon return to the earth. When he comes, he will raise the dead and judge the world. This booklet explains what that day will mean. It shows that the dead sleep in their graves, not in heaven or hell. Many will wake at Christ's return and stand before his judgement seat. Those who know the Gospel must give an account of their lives. God will give the faithful eternal life in His kingdom on a renewed earth. Yet no one earns this reward; it remains God's gracious gift.
